In my opinion and as good as those other synths are, the SY99 easily blows them away and right across the board. The upside of this is that owners have one very exclusive synth, enormous sonic and sound shaping ability, its a programmers dream. Reading recent threads here on the subject of powerful 90's digital synths, JD800, Z1, Wavestation, its a real shame that the SY99 rarely gets a mention, its just such a rare synth. Worlds best kept secret the SY99 helps being the rarest of 90's synths though. The original DX7, SY77 and TG77 presets are good starting points to edit new sounds. The sounds in those links really show off the analog and very organic nature of the SY99 and there are quite a few Vangelis type patches that really capture that vibe and mood. Uncle Vernon and Dudley sit at the table while Aunt Petunia is busy fixing breakfast.Hey, thanks for these links! The SY99 is the one synth that I will probably never sell. [Harry leaves the living room area into the hallway and picks up some letters, one of which had his name on it with his address of where he slept. It'll fit me like bits of old Elephant skin. And this is what you're gonna be wearing when I've finished dyeing it.

He doesn't understand what it's like, lying there day after day, having people press their ugly faces in on you. Vernon: Move! Dudley: MOVE! Harry: He's asleep! Dudley: He's boring. Any funny business, any at all, and you won't have any meals for a week. This is what we're going to do, is that when we go out, we're going to buy you two new presents! How's that, pumpkin? Petunia: This will be a lovely day at the zoo. Dudley: I don't care how big they are! Petunia: Oh, now, now, now. Dudley: Thirty-six?! But last year last year I had thirty-seven!! Vernon: Err yes, well, some of them are quite a bit bigger than last year. Petunia: Aren’t they wonderful, darling? Dudley: How many are there? Vernon: Thirty-six. Vernon: Hurry up! Bring my coffee, boy! Harry: Yes, Uncle Vernon. Petunia: I want everything to be perfect for my Dudley's special day. Petunia: Why don't you just cook the breakfast, and try not to burn anything. Now! Dudley: Wake up, cousin! We're going to the zoo! Petunia: Oh, here he comes, the birthday boy! Vernon: Happy birthday, son. Until he is ready.ĭumbledore: There, there, Hagrid. He's better off growing up away from all that. There won't be a child in our world who doesn't know his name.ĭumbledore: Exactly. They're the worst sort of Muggles imaginable. McGonagall: Albus, do you really think it's safe, leaving him with these people? I've watched them all day. Little tyke fell asleep just as we were flying over Bristol. Professor McGonagall.ĭumbledore: No problems, I trust, Hagrid? McGonagall: Do you think it wise to trust Hagrid with something as important as this?ĭumbledore: Ah, Professor, I would trust Hagrid with my life. Are the rumors true, Albus?ĭumbledore: I'm afraid so, Professor.
